Creative Thursday – Christmas Craft

I am back for another Creative Thursdays blog hop.  Thanks to Tara from Stiletto’s and Shiplap, Emily at LeCultivateur and Shae from Sweet Southern Grace for the invite.  I am more than happy to be working with such creative ladies.  This month’s theme is to create a Christmas Craft.  I chose to make this fun and SUPER simple wreath.  Please make sure you check all the other bloggers projects at the bottom of this post.  These ladies will amaze you.

Check out this video I made, or read the tutorial below.

2 Easy Steps – Christmas Wreath…

This post contains some affiliate links for your convenience (which means if you make a purchase after clicking a link I will earn a small commission which helps keep my blog up and running but it won’t cost you a penny more)!

Materials Used for this Project…

16 inch foam wreath form
faux flower (I used this poinsettia)
Sewing Pins

Supplies Used…

Step 1, Wrap the Yarn…

This step took the longest.  And by longest I mean less than 5 minutes.  I glued a starter piece to the foam and then wrapped the yarn until it covered the entire foam.  Then glued an end piece.  That’s it!

Step 2, Pin the Flower…

Pining the flower to the wreath allows you to change out the flower each season. For the Christmas wreath I picked a large poinsettia from Hobby Hobby.  I cut the stem off and clipped the leaves.

Then I just pinned it to the foam. Very simple, very easy.

Step 3, Hang…

Lastly, hang it up and enjoy.

This turned out so pretty. Pinning for the future to add my own spin.

    Have a great day

I am so glad you like it. It would be so easy to put your own spin on it, and it is soooooo simple to make too.

Hope you have a great day too.
