I hope you all had an awesome holiday season with friends and family. We had a crazy busy, but super fun December. First, my brother and his wife came to visit. The day they left my best friend, her hubby and daughter came. The day they left my mother-in-law came. Then we went to Busch Gardens for a night, came back in time for Christmas and then our friends came the day after Christmas for…
The last 2 times we’ve been to the beach we’ve found a TON of washed up sand dollars (already dead), due to the terrible red tide we had. They even talked about it in the Naples Daily News (although this article is saying it may not have been due to the red tide). https://www.naplesnews.com/story/news/environment/2018/07/16/thousands-sand-dollars-found-dead-beach-bonita-springs-barefoot-florida/786955002/ They were all different sizes. Some as small as a dime and some as big as 4 or 5 inches across.…

I followed the same process as the dolphin, just in a sea horse shape. I like how it came out and now my dolphin won’t be lonely. 🙂 What do you think? PS – Why is it so hard to take a picture of a picture? I tried a…

In fact, probably 3-4 weeks ago, I saw a similar piece for sale on facebook marketplace. Unfortunately it sold by the time I asked about it. So, when my friend/neighbor texted me that this piece was on the curb near her house. I wrote back pretty quickly saying….”I want”!…

It is time for the February DIY Challenge, hosted by Terrie at Decorate and More with Tip. (You can see my past DIY Challenges here.) We do this blog hop on the first Wednesday of every month and we always have a new theme. When Terrie announced that the challenge this month was Trash to Treasure, I think I jumped for joy a little. Trash to Treasure is my specialty. If you’ve followed me at…
Today, I am joining a group of bloggers for a fun and unique DIY Surprise Box Challenge, sponsored by the amazing Terrie from Decorate and More with Tip. We did this last year too and it was really fun. You can see that post here. Each of us was assigned a person to buy for. We then had to go to pick up some holiday related item(s), and mail it to that person. We were…
