More framing and stairs too….

Things are moving along very nicely at our house remodel. You can see all my past updates here. I stopped by the House house on Sunday to take some pictures.  Last week I talked about ceilings going in, but this week we have walls (or at least framing for walls)!  And the beginnings of stairs too!  Very, very exciting stuff.  Check it out.  Not the prettiest pictures to look at, at the moment, but still way cool, and to me are gorgeous and mean progress.

Whoa, wait a minute, hold on now…..

I started writing this post Monday, trying to stay ahead of the game knowing that I would be busy come Wednesday. Anyway, the above pictures are from Sunday. I decided to stop by the house Tuesday to get more pictures for today’s post and holy cow…..tons more work has been done in just 2 days.  Check it out….

People, I can’t even! Things are coming together quickly now.  It is so great.  The contractor has a schedule posted up on the wall and they are sticking to it and getting things DONE.  I got a text from a friend, and future neighbor, and saw another at our kids school today. Both said basically the same thing.  Both drive by our house every day, whereas I do not. Both couldn’t believe how much work had been done in just the last few days.  It is all coming together.

The weather has been amazing.  The temperatures are so much cooler and way less humid and most importantly, no rain!.  It is so nice and very good for us and the workers.

Family Fall Festival…

There are just a few more days until the Fall Festival that I have been a part of planning is over.  It has been fun, a lot of work and definitely a learning experience.  I have a great group of moms helping out and really hope the night is a success.  That being said, I am looking forward to it being over so I can concentrate on other things (like this blog, and our house remodel) and maybe get some sleep. I will write a future post about it, or at least post of few pictures of what we did.

That is all I have time for today.  I’ll be back at it, and hopefully more rested, next Wednesday.
