Happy (day after) Thanksgiving!  I am feeling so incredibly thankful for so many things, and living near some of the most beautiful beaches is definitely on my list!

We started a new tradition this year and brought our Thanksgiving feast to the beach! It was the most beautiful and amazing day. We’ve been talking about doing this for a while and decided a few weeks ago that this was the year (especially since it was only going to be my family of 4 and my mom, and I didn’t have to entertain or feed a lot of people).  To make things even easier we ordered food from Fresh Market so we didn’t even have to cook!  Yes, it was a little bit of a pain in the neck having to bring a lot of stuff to the beach, but overall it wasn’t terrible and it was TOTALLY WORTH IT.  My husband found us a quiet and somewhat secluded spot near the water and under some trees for shade. My mother and I brought some tablecloths and other decor to fancy up the table and make it look as nice as possible.  I think we did an okay job!

After we ate, we hung around on the beach for hours.

It was such a perfect day and I hope we continue this tradition for many years.  What family traditions do you have?
